I founded Clarissa C. in 2002 in Laguna Beach, California while searching for the perfect baby and children’s clothing and accessories for my two daughters. Inspired by many years of living in Europe, I found that a certain style was missing in the Southern California children’s market so I decided to create my own collection. I started the line with layette essentials utilizing fine European quality fabrics and stitchery to create innovative classics of the highest quality with the utmost attention to detail. Most recently, in a quest to find the ideal swimsuit for my daughters, Olivia 10 and Camilla 7, Clarissa C. has added children’s resort wear to its line. Olivia and Camilla helped in the design process by keeping me in touch with what children like and want to wear.
