Gigi Mortimer and Courtney Moss dreamed up Glamourpuss NYC in the unlikeliest of places: the stands of Central Park’s Lasker Rink.

Longtime friends (and mothers of avid hockey players), Mortimer and Moss perceived of a need for chic, easy, winter accessories women could wear all day, from early morning practices and business meetings to drinks with friends. The success of their first piece, a luxurious rex rabbit fur funnel in an array of eye-catching shades, led to the launch of a full collection in the fall of 2009.
