Handwoven throw - 100% Silk - Patterned Plaid - Red & Bronze, by Gregory Newham

The beautiful shimmer of 100% premium Swiss silk yarns enriches this handwoven throw in a "Patterned Plaid" design. The rich, vibrant red is counterpointed with a glowing bronze-beige silk creating contrast in the pattern. Generously sized at approx. 50" x 80", the throw is finished with a hand-knotted and hand-braided fringe, meticulously executed. An elegant accent for a sofa, chair or ottoman.

My career has been exclusively focused on the creation and production of large textiles for high-end residential interiors, commissioned by architects and interior design clients. I also weave luxurious throws, upholstery, and create scarves. I enjoy the range of processes necessary to produce the finished textiles, whatever it may be! After 40 years of doing this, I often say that I have woven “to the moon and back.”

SHIPPING POLICY

Fed Ex is our preferred carrier:

Custom orders - For rugs a quote will be provided. A custom colored strike-off will be presented for approval within 4-6 weeks. Upon approval materials will be prepared and work will begin dependent on workroom schedule. The balance on the order is payable prior to shipment plus assesed packing, insurance and shipping fees. Purchaser may also arrange their own pick-up and shipment from our workroom.

Note: One custom strike-off will be provided in the quoted price on all rugs over 8’ x 10’ in size. A custom- colored strike-off may also be requested at a cost quoted on request ( generally $600.00 minimum – dependent on size and number of colors specified ). If additional strike-offs are requested, there will be an additional charge.

RETURNS POLICY

Returns will be accepted if the merchandise is promptly returned in “as sent condition” within 10 days of receipt. Purchaser will be liable for all shipping costs. A store credit will be issued and be valid for one year from date of original purchase. Any item returned in soiled or used condition will be returned to purchaser and credit will not be made. Please contact us prior to making any return.

Every effort has been made to display colors as accurately as possible. Due to the potential differences in monitor displays of colors, we cannot guarantee color accuracy. Please contact us with any questions on colors.

Returns are not accepted on custom orders. Full payment on custom work is due prior to shipment.
